You can refund an EFTPOS transaction back to a debit or credit card if you have the refund facility set-up on your EFTPOS terminal. To set this up, you will need to contact your merchant acquiring bank (the bank you have your merchant account with).
Once the facility is set-up, simply follow the instructions in our how-to video below to process a refund. You will need to know your terminal’s merchant password. If you don’t know your password, you can call our technical helpdesk on 0800 338 767. You will need to be a listed director or owner to set-up or make changes to your merchant password.
