You can search and filter transactions to see just the ones you need. Reprint or resend a receipt from the transaction detail and even email yourself a transaction list from any calendar day.

Access your Transaction History

From the Payment screen, tap the hamburger menu  and then tap Transaction History. This will bring up your transaction list.

Transactions are organised by transaction date and time.

Tap a particular transaction to view transaction details, resend the customer receipt.

Tap the printer icon  next to the date to view a detailed transaction list for all transactions processed on that date.

You can also email the list directly from your EFTPOS terminal.

Details included in this report for each transaction:

  • Transaction time and amount
  • Card number (only the last four numbers are visible)
  • Card type i.e. Chip, Contactless Card etc. (MOTO transactions are listed as Manual)
  • TRAN number (the 6-digit TRAN number on the receipt below the time)
  • Transaction type i.e. Purchase, Cash Out, Refund
  • Declined transactions are also included in this report. Approved transactions will show a ‘Total’ amount, while Declined ones do not

NOTE: If your terminal is swapped out, your Transaction History is not transferred to the replacement terminal.

Search and filter transactions by card

If your customer has the card they used to make the transaction you’re looking for:
  1. From the Payment screen, tap the hamburger menu
  2. Tap SearchTransactions and then tap the card icon
  3. Your customer can then either swipe, insert or tap their card

NOTE: You can also enter the last four digits of the card into the search field next to the   icon  

Search and filter transactions by TRAN or Invoice number

If you have an EFTPOS transaction receipt you can search using the TRAN or Invoice number:

  1. From the Payment screen, tap the hamburger menu
  2. Tap Search Transactions and then tap ADVANCED SEARCH
  3. Type any 4 or more digits from the TRAN number or Invoice Number into the search field and then tap Search

NOTE: Once you tap a field and enter a value, tapping the green   button on the virtual keyboard will move the cursor to the next field. If you only want to enter one value, tap the downwards triangle button to close the keyboard.  

Advanced search

If you don’t have the customer’s card or receipt, you can use Advanced Search to search for the transaction using additional details including the merchant reference, exact or approximate amount, or a date range. You can also filter the list to only view declined transactions or pending offline transactions. To access Advanced Search:
  1. From the Payment screen, tap the hamburger menu and then tap Search Transactions
  2. Tap Advanced Search

NOTE: Once you tap a field and enter a value, tapping the green   button on the virtual keyboard will move the cursor to the next field. If you only want to enter one value, tap the downwards triangle button to close the keyboard.  

Search for pending offline transactions

See a list of all pending offline transactions that have not been processed.
  1. From the Payment screen, tap the hamburger menu
  2. Tap Search Transactions
  3. Tap ADVANCED SEARCH
  4. Tap Only Pending Offline
  5. Tap Search

Search for declined transactions

  1. From the Payment screen, tap the hamburger menu hamburger-sml-gray-e1603152456677 
  2. Tap Search Transactions
  3. Tap ADVANCED SEARCH
  4. Tap Declined Transactions
  5. Tap Search

 

Other Verifone terminals

Verifone network

You can print a full day's transaction list from any of the past 14 days right from your terminal. Check in on how much you’ve put through the terminal on a particular day, or get the details for a particular transaction quickly and easily.

  1. Select menu
  2. Scroll down and select Transaction list
  3. Select either Current Date or Other (Other will ask for a date in DDMM format)
  4. The terminal will show a count of transactions onscreen and display Print Yes / No
  5. If Yes is selected the terminal will print a transaction list and return to the idle screen. If No is selected it will return to the idle screen

NOTE: If you have a two-piece terminal, or if your terminal is running through a phone line, you won't be able to use this feature.

Worldline network

If you are using a Worldline terminal, you will need to contact either your merchant bank or Worldline to get a transaction list.
