Here is an overview of ecommerce, checkout, API and Verifone Central items released in September 2024 in Demo and Production environments.
New Features
Pay By Link
- Pay by Link search criteria has been enhanced. Merchants can now use the Customer’s Email, Phone Number, First Name and/or Last Name to find a payment link.
Enhancements
Pay By Link
- Two new columns, ‘Email (Recipient)’ and ‘Email (Customer)’, have been added to the Pay By Link list page. This helps quickly identify payment links by displaying both the recipients email and the customer’s email.
Verifone Central
- ‘My Account’ submenu display issues on mobile and desktop have been resolved, ensuring smooth operation across Apple, Android and desktop (even with compressed windows). Previously the menu appeared to be open and hanging at the bottom.
- Tab focus has been enhanced for smoother navigation between text boxes and selectable fields, improving the user experience when navigating from the navigation bar to the payment screen.
- Previously when new users clicked the ‘Set Password’ link in their welcome email the page displayed a ‘Reset Password’ button. This screen now displays a 'Set Password' button.
- Added ‘Scheme Transaction ID’ to the 3D Secure Authentications Report
eCommerce
- Two new fields, ‘Organization ID’ and ‘Acquirer Merchant ID’, have been added to the listTransactions and getTransactions calls in the eCommerce API
- The 3DS Service has been updated to attempt authentication only for onboarded schemes improving overall service accuracy.
Bug Fixes
Verifone Central
- We are working on fixes and improvements to our Dashboard experience, expected to be released in March. In the meantime, Dashboard won't be available while we work on these improvements.
- A defect causing an 'invalid_client Client authentication failed' error when accessing Verifone Central from bookmarked URLs has been fixed, allowing smoother navigation and login access.
- A defect causing the ‘View Details’ button in the 3D Authentication section of the Orders/Transactions page to display incorrectly has been resolved.
- A defect causing console errors when focusing on the the Disable and Delete buttons on the Users page has been fixed.
