What is happening?
Eftpos New Zealand has purchased the customer agreements and business assets of The Cash Register Doctor Ltd trading as TotalPOS Solutions and TotalPOS Rentals Ltd trading as TotalPOS Rentals. From 15 June, your services will be provided by Eftpos New Zealand on the same terms. Read a message from Martin Ross, Director of TotalPOS here.
Will my billing date change?
Your billing amount, frequency, and dates will all stay the same.
Do I need to notify my bank of anything?
No. You do not need to contact your bank. If you pay by direct debit, we will handle updating the authority, so you will be debited by Eftpos New Zealand. If you pay by automatic payment or direct credit, we will let you know when and how to update any payment details.
Does my contract change?
You will remain on your current pricing and terms and conditions. You will not be moved onto new terms without notice.
Where do I go for support?
You can keep calling 0800 366 109 for service and support. EFTPOS enquiries will be handled by the Eftpos NZ Technical Helpdesk, and POS enquiries will continue to be handled by TotalPOS specialists.
Can I still get on-site support?
Yes. Eftpos NZ provides nationwide on-site support through our network of field service technicians. You can see the local rep in your area here.
What are your support hours?
Technical support is available 24/7 from our local Technical Helpdesk based in Wellington. Our Customer Services team is available between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
What about my EFTPOS terminal/s, POS system or Cash Register?
You can continue to use your current EFTPOS terminal and POS equipment. You now have access to the full range of EFTPOS equipment available from Eftpos NZ. View our EFTPOS devices here.
What about EventPOS?
EventPOS services continue through the transition. If you have an upcoming event and need support, call 0800 366 109.

What will happen to the TotalPOS and Cash Registers NZ websites?
The TotalPOS and Cash Registers NZ websites will remain available during the transition. Over time they will redirect to eftpos.co.nz.
