Guide To Reporting On Verifone Central

Learn how to access, create, schedule and download reports in Verifone Central so you can track transactions, and other key payment data.

Access Verifone Central

Log in to Verifone Central Offsite Link 

If you’ve forgotten your password, click Forgot password to reset it. New users will receive a Welcome Email with a link to set a password.

Tips for Efficient Reporting

  • Customise reports by using templates to include only the fields you need

  • Schedule daily reports to save time

  • Keep filters broad if you’re troubleshooting a transaction

Navigate to the Reports Menu

Reports are under the Commerce tab:

  • Orders/Transactions – view and filter transactions

  • Report Scheduler – set up automated reports

  • Generated Reports – download past reports

View a Transaction Report

  1. Go to Commerce > Orders/Transactions

  2. Select a date range

  3. Select your Organisation

  4. Click Apply to view results

  5. Click a transaction to view details such as:

    • History – transaction timeline

    • Actions – available for eCommerce transactions only (e.g. refunds, pre-authorisations)

    • Details – transaction metadata

    • Customer – customer info

    • Documents – receipts or related files

  6. Click Export CSV to download a transaction list

There’s currently no built-in totals function for transactions

Create a Report Template

Create a Surcharge Reporting Template to easily generate reports that include surcharge amounts. See how to create a surcharge reporting template here.

  1. Go to Commerce > Orders/Transactions

  2. Run a search and click Export CSV

  3. Select Manage Templates

  4. Click Create Template, and:

  5. Click Save

Not all report fields listed on Verifone Cloud are available in NZ.

Edit a Report Template

  1. Go to Commerce > Orders/Transactions

  2. Run a search and click Export CSV

  3. Click Manage Templates

  4. Select a template and click Edit

  5. Update details and Save

Schedule a Report

Scheduled reports are delivered by email with a link to download the file from Verifone Central. Reports begin running from the first full day after scheduling.

  1. Go to Commerce > Report Scheduler

  2. Click Schedule report

  3. Enter a name for the report

  4. Select a template

  5. Add filters (optional), such as:

    • Channel (eComm, in-person)

    • Currency

    • Product (e.g. Mastercard)

    • Transaction type

    • Merchant ID

    • Organisation

  6. Set frequency: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly

  7. Choose transaction time (trading day end)

  8. Choose report time (when it will run)

  9. Enter one or more email addresses

  10. Click Schedule Report

Edit a Scheduled Report

  1. Go to Commerce > Report Scheduler

  2. Click the report you want to edit

  3. Update details and Save

If no report displays, make sure you are searching a date range in the future as past-dated reports will not show.

View and Download Generated Reports

  1. Go to Commerce > Generated Reports

  2. Find the report and click Download
