Managing Your Contract: Changes and Cancellations

We understand that circumstances may change and you may need to end your services with us.

Where is my contract?

Upon signing up with us, you receive a Letter of Offer and Acceptance outlining your services, commencement date, and fees. This, along with the Eftpos Services Agreement, forms the legally binding terms. It's important to note that these documents do not require a signature to become legally binding.

How can I cancel my contract?

You can terminate within 10 business days of the commencement date OR before using the services. Following that you can end your contract at each term's end by providing 90 days' written notice.

Is there a cancellation fee?

There are no cancellation fees if you terminate within the term. However, if you choose to cancel your contract before the term's end, you will still be responsible for the full value of any fees that apply up until the end of the term.

If you are selling your business you can transfer your Eftpos NZ contract to the new owner and avoid balance charges.

Why am I still being charged?

After termination, it is important to cancel any automatic payments associated with your contract and promptly return any equipment that was provided to you. Failure to do so may result in continued charges being applied to your account.
