There are still some cases where a technical issue requires a field rep site visit or EFTPOS terminal swap-out to properly diagnose or fix an issue.
We can have a swap-out terminal to you in around two business days, or overnight in most cases. Rural addresses usually take 3 business days.
But over weekends, and when a terminal is required sooner than that, we have two lifesaving fallbacks set-up. The first is ‘car stock’, which is extra terminals our field reps keep on hand to perform urgent swap-outs. The other fallback is our rescue locations.
A rescue location is a merchant who has agreed to hold on to a few terminals for us so that other merchants can pick-up a swap-out terminal in emergency situations to reduce business downtime.
