Your Eftpos NZ quote

Your quote includes a recommended solution tailored to your business, along with optional value-added products. This article walks you through what each section means, how to customise your solution, and what to expect after you accept.

Your recommended solution

At the top of your quote, you’ll see a section titled "Your recommended solution". 

This outlines:

  • The payment setup we recommend for your business

  • The core products and services that best match your business needs

This solution is based on the information you shared during the quote process — including your industry, transaction volume, and business goals.

You can accept this solution as-is, or customise it using the optional products listed in the next section.

Related products

The Related products section is split into two parts:

  • Monthly charges – add-ons that are billed monthly (e.g. surcharging tools)

  • One-off charges – once-off costs like accessories or installation

Each product includes a short description and pricing. To include one, click the "Add Product" toggle switch in the bottom right corner. The quote will update automatically with your new selections and display the revised monthly total.

Need to make changes?

If the quote doesn’t quite meet your needs, click "Request Changes" below the "Accept Quote" button. A text box will appear where you can tell us what you’d like updated — for example, removing a product or changing the number of terminals.

We’ll send you a revised version based on your feedback.

Accepting your quote

When you're ready, click "Accept Quote" to move forward. From there you can click through to our secure online application form, which must be completed before we can process your order.

Note: Your quote has an expiry date. You’ll need to accept the quote or request changes before it expires, otherwise you’ll be locked out of the page. If you need more time, contact your Eftpos NZ representative — they can extend the expiry date for you. If your quote has already expired, simply request a new one via the Get a Quote form, or your Eftpos NZ representative.

What happens next?

Once you’ve accepted your quote:

  1. Sign up with Eftpos NZ - You’ll be directed to our online application form to sign up with us.

  2. Request a Merchant ID from your bank - Once you have it, send it to us so we can load it onto your terminal. Learn more about Merchant and Terminal IDs

  3. Paperwork - When we receive your Merchant/Terminal ID, we’ll prepare your agreement and send you your official Letter of Offer by email. Learn more about the Letter of Offer.

  4. You're Ready To Go! - Depending on your solution, we’ll:

    • Courier your EFTPOS terminal to you;

    • Arrange for a technician to install it onsite; and/or

    • Send setup instructions for tools like Pay by Link, Virtual Terminal, or online payments
