How to pay your Eftpos NZ bill

Everything you need to know about paying your monthly service charges

When are my fees due?

Your EFTPOS subscription fees and eCommerce license fees are due one month in advance on your contract anniversary date. For example, if your contract began on the 9th of the month, your payments will be due on the 9th day of every month. To find your contract start date, refer to your Eftpos New Zealand letter of offer.

Easy Payment Options

Choose from the following convenient ways to pay for your monthly service charges:

1. Pay Online with a Credit Card Pay securely online with your credit card

2. Pay by Internet Banking Make quick and straightforward payments using Internet banking

3. Set Up a Direct Debit Ensure timely, automated payments by setting up a direct debit with your nominated bank account

You can also set up a monthly automatic deduction from your credit card, call Customer Services on 0800 EFTPOS (0800 338 767, option 3) for more information.

Invoices for E-Commerce Transactions

Your total monthly E-Commerce Transaction Fee may vary based on your transaction volume. We'll provide an invoice within the first five business days of the month for Transaction Fees incurred the previous month. If you have a direct debit set up, the calculated amount will be automatically debited from your nominated bank account ten business days after the invoice is issued.

Invoices for terminal and payment network services

Invoices for EFTPOS Terminal and Payment Network services are not automatically issued unless specifically requested. Our Customer Services team can arrange for copies of your invoices and statements to be conveniently emailed or posted to you. You can set that up here.

What is included in your Eftpos New Zealand monthly charges

Your monthly bill from Eftpos New Zealand covers terminal rental costs and network connection fees if you are connected to the Verifone network. Additionally, your invoice may include the following:

  1. SIM Fee: For terminals connected via 4G
  2. Backup SIM Fee
  3. Fees for Additional Functionality: e.g. for value-add services like surcharging

Other Purchases and Support: If you purchase items from our online shop, such as paper rolls or terminal accessories, or if you request an out-of-hours technical support visit, you'll receive a one-off invoice due on the 20th of the following month.

Service Charges from Other Providers

If you connect to the Worldline network, you will receive a monthly statement from Worldline. Additionally, your merchant bank will charge you monthly fees, including a 'Merchant Service Fee' for processing credit cards and contactless transactions.
