Transaction lists on your Carbon Mobile 5

You can see the details for approved transactions processed on your Carbon Mobile from the last 6 months on your terminal. Search and filter transactions to see just the ones you need and resend a customer receipt or refund the transaction directly from your order history.

Search for transactions made on a particular card by inserting, swiping or tapping the card or search using the TRAN number from the EFTPOS receipt, your merchant reference, exact or approximate amount, a date range and more. You can also see a list of all pending offline transactions.

NOTE: If your terminal is swapped out, your order history is not transferred to the replacement terminal.

Access your order history

 

From the Payment screen, tap the hamburger menu and then tap Order History.

This will bring up your transaction list. Transactions are organised by transaction date and time. Tap a particular transaction to view transaction details, resend the customer receipt, or refund the transaction. Tap the printer icon to view a detailed transaction list for all transactions processed on that date. Details included on this report for each transaction:

  • Transaction time and amount
  • Card number (only the last four numbers are visible)
  • Card type i.e. Chip, Contactless Card etc. MOTO transactions are listed as Manual
  • TRAN number (the 6-digit TRAN number on the receipt below the time)
  • Transaction type i.e. Purchase, Cash Out, Refund

 

Search and filter transactions by card

   

If your customer has the card they used to make the purchase:

    1. From the Payment screen, tap the hamburger menu and then tap Search Orders or Order History and then
  1. tap the card icon . Your customer can then either swipe, insert or tap their card; or
  2. enter the last 4 digits of the card number into the search field.

 

Search and filter transactions by TRAN number

If you have an EFTPOS transaction receipt you can search using the TRAN number:

  1. From the Payment screen, tap the hamburger menu
  2. Then tap Search Orders or Order History  and then the search icon
  3. Type any 4 or more digits from the TRAN number on the receipt into the search field at the top of the screen and tap

 

Advanced search

If you don’t have the card or receipt, you can use ADVANCED SEARCH to search for the transaction using additional details including the merchant reference, exact or approximate amount or a date range:

  1. From the Payment screen, tap the hamburger menu and then tap Search Orders
  2. Tap ADVANCED SEARCH
  3. Enter the value into the correct search field and tap Search

 

Search for pending offline transactions

See a list of all pending offline transactions that have not been processed.

  1. From the Payment screen, tap the hamburger menu and then tap Search Orders
  2. Tap ADVANCED SEARCH
  3. Tap Only Pending Offline
  4. Tap Search
