Customise your Android terminal settings

Learn how to find and customise your Android terminal settings for display, sounds, and time format.

To customise your terminal settings, simply swipe down from the Notification bar and tap the settings icon .

TIP: Can't find what you need? Use the search field at the top of the Settings menu.

You can make changes to:
  1. Display Settings: Adjust screen brightness and font size from Settings > Display.
  2. Sounds: Control volume for screen touches, alerts, and alarms from Settings > Sound.
You can also use the volume buttons on the side of the terminal. Press the volume button up or down and then tap the dropdown arrow on the alert on the screen to set the volume via the slider.
  3. Date and Time: Access settings at Settings > System > Date & time.

IMPORTANT: We recommend keeping the Automatic time zone on at all times. Changing your time zone will affect receipts and is not recommended. Please note that Navigator is seperate from Media volume and set to 75%. This includes chime & vocalisations for Accessibility, Assistance and Training modes.
