To save power your terminal goes into sleep mode when you’re not using it. It will also lock after a period of inactivity.
To wake your terminal
Press the power button.
To unlock your terminal
Press the power button and swipe up on the screen.
NOTE: To adjust the delay before your terminal goes into sleep mode, navigate to Android Settings > Display > Sleep
