I received an email or text message telling me to set-up auto updates on my terminal

All EFTPOS terminals connecting to the Paymark Network need an upgrade by April 30, 2020. If your terminal is one of the 130,000 that need an upgrade, you might have received a text message or email from us asking you to enable Auto Updates on your terminal.

The easiest way to upgrade your terminal software is with Auto Update. With Auto Update enabled, your terminal will complete an automatic download once a month between 11 pm and 5 am, this means we can update your software remotely so you don’t need a terminal swap-out.

How do I enable Auto Updates?

Simply click the link in your email or text message to view a video which will take you through how to enable Auto Updates on your terminal.

Didn’t get an email or text yet?

To enable Auto Updates we need to configure your terminal manually in our terminal management system so you can download Auto Update to your device. We are rolling out the functionality in waves over the next few months.

Some terminal configurations are not suitable for a remote software download, and therefore still need a terminal swap-out via courier or one of our field representatives to upgrade.

Don’t worry! We’ve got it covered

Eftpos NZ terminal subscription customers are guaranteed FREE, managed compliance upgrades. You’ll hear from us in the coming months to let you know how your terminal will be upgraded. You can learn more about this upgrade here.
