Troubleshooting Unresponsive Touch Screen

If the touch screen on your EFTPOS terminal isn't responding, try rebooting, cleaning, and recalibrating it. Contact Tech Support if the issue persists.

Reboot the Terminal:

    • Android: Hold down the Power button for at least 20-30 seconds
    • VX 690/VX 680: Hold red X key to shut down, then green Enter key to turn on.
    • VX 820 DUET: Unplug and replug power cord after waiting five seconds.
    • VX 520 with Swivel Base: Unlock and lift terminal, unplug power cord for five seconds, and plug it back.

    Clean the Screen:

    • Wipe with a clean, dry cloth.

    Recalibrate the Screen:

    • Press Enter key and 7 simultaneously
    • Enter password 869779, select option 7 - Calibrate Screen
    • Touch cross-hair points, and choose option 1 - Restart
    • Your terminal will reboot
